Victoria Women’s Show

October 3, 2011

Over the weekend, I participated in the Victoria Women’s Show at the Pearkes and Recreation Centre. It was my first tradeshow and I was pretty nervous about my booth, I wasn’t sure if it would look cool or be fun etc. With the help of my trusty boyfriend Craig and our good friend/cousin Darcy (of Holte Interiors)we were able to pull this thing together last minute. The booth was a massive 20×20 square feet so we were able to bring in an entire living room set up for guests to lounge and enjoy a KGOOD slideshow or chocolate. The other half  was our interactive photobooth, everyone enjoyed jumping in with our mustache props (thank you Jesse for supplying those!) It’s amazing that there is a universal mustache pose, it involves a bad ass look including raising./scrunching of the eyebrows and/or stroking of the ‘stache. 103.1 Jack FM even interviewed me on the radio! My booth was in a prime location next to the stage so I was able to watch the fashion show, Grocery Alerts, and the Zumba demonstrations (I couldn’t resist jumping in for a bit- heels and all). The show had loads of interesting booths and my booth neighbors were really friendly.

Thank you to everyone who came out! You can view, download and/or purchase  your photobooth images at this link: http://bit.ly/ojOnfe

Also, Congratulations to Jennifer Ferguson who won our photo shoot draw prize!
