Winter Inspired Bridal

January 14, 2013

This was my first bridal styled shoot and it was tons of fun working with other wedding vendors to create something collectively. Every wedding vendor I have met loves their jobs (what’s not to love about weddings?) and it was extra cool to see their personal take of their craft shine through in this winter-inspired shoot.
We were originally going to shoot this outside but we got rained out but luckily Fairholme Manor let us use their incredible heritage B&B last minute (which actually turned out way better and less cold!).
Tina Barbanoff of Platinum Floral Designs was the brainchild behind this one – check out those amazingly intricate and unique iced orchids! That massive centerpiece is also enviable. I love the romantic secret-garden vibe she has going on there. Actually, she had me at the stunning orchid and necklace charm bouquet. It is so incredibly regal and I have never seen anything like it. Everyone’s input here was invaluable, in fact I’ve never seen a team of girls run around setting up and tearing down so quickly! The entire photography portion was about 45 minutes long but our models were a real couple, and they were totally cute and easy to photograph together. I think I might be addicted to styled shoots now, definitely looking forward to the next one.
