If your wedding location is more than one hour outside the Greater Victoria area, an additional $50 is applied per travel hour.
If your wedding location is elsewhere in Canada or is an international destination, we ask that our travel/accommodation
fees be covered; please inquire for a custom travel quote.

What if my wedding is up-island or an international destination?

You will be notified within the hour of overtime so you can choose if you would like us to stay for longer.
The $500 refundable overtime deposit covers two extra hours at a 50% discounted rate – designed by me to give you peace of
mind if your wedding day runs behind schedule, kind of like an insurance policy.
You will receive a refund of any unused deposit (to the nearest half hour) after the wedding.

What happens if we go overtime on the
wedding day?

It is $550. I love shooting on the mainland, I charge only for my costs which include roundtrip vehicle ferry fee and
associated travel fees.

What is the travel costs to get you to Vancouver for my wedding?

If the booth is available, absolutely! For space, we recommend a 10X10 sq ft area with access to a power source.

Can I book The Photobooth separately? How much space do you need for it?

I guarantee an image per minute, but often deliver much more.

How many images do we get?

We follow the industry standard (6-8 weeks after the wedding). We've been told this is the perfect space to re-live moments you forgot about!

How long until we see the wedding images?

This is a complimentary feature for weddings that book me for at least 8 hours. If needed, I bring my own projector and screen to your venue.
I create a quick slideshow of around 60 wedding images taken so far that day (usually beginning with 5 of your favourite photos from our engagement shoot). I do this very precisely during the only time I will not be shooting on your day - when people are eating (because it's not flattering to photograph), this is why I recommend not having speeches throughout dinner.

How do we know much much photography coverage we need on our wedding day?

See my blog post about planning your wedding day timeline which covers how much time each portion of your day usually takes and explains the different options between doing a "first look" vs. a more traditional photography timeline. Hours must be used consecutively on the same day.

For three reasons:
/ The ability to be (and capture) in two places at once. Ex: one photographer with each person's getting ready in the morning.
/ The ability to capture different angles of the exact same moment, especially handy to get each couple's expression during vows and to capture      more guest expressions during the ceremony and reception. Final gallery will be time-synced to show images captured at the same time side by side for an omnipotent view of your day.
/ Incredible value: for only $65/hr you get an average of 30% more images in your final gallery
/ Insurance: while I capture to dual card slots in my camera,  at the end of the day it is only technology and having another set of professional eyes capturing your event ensures the safety of your digital images.

Why consider a second shooter?

You can order hourly coverage at $1,000 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours booked if :
- your wedding is not on a summer Saturday or falls into the off-season (Oct-April)
- is booked (and available) 3 months prior to your date (short notice booking)

We are having a smaller wedding/elopment, what if we don’t need 8 + hours of coverage?

An electronically signed contract and non-refundable deductible deposit of $1000 and the $500 refundable overtime
deposit (for 8+ hour bookings) is required to reserve your date. Remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding date.
I accept email money transfer, cash, check and credit cards (credit cards will ensure a 3% additional fee).
