When Kortney and Ben told me they were getting married at Hatley Castle, I was immediately excited because it is not-so-secretly where I want to tie my own knot in the future. Weirdly, I have never photographed a wedding there, though I have fantasized about it. Kortney and Ben are ridiculously photogenic and their family knows how to party which equalled some pretty stunning images. After the Hatley Castle ceremony, we took photos among the gorgeous Castle grounds complete with massive grecian columns and a Japanese garden. Before we headed to Fort Rodd Hill (another personal favourite photo location), the entire bridal party took their limo to the local Burger King for some classy snacks. The reception was at the Esquimalt Wardroom, complete with panoramic ocean views and some very talented dance moves on behalf of the wedding party. Finally shooting at Hatley was amazing.
