Hanna + Curtis [Winter Whistler Wedding]

Where do I begin with these two? They captured my heart when I captured their engagement photos last year.

Hanna lives in Seattle while Curtis is a Vancouver Islander, and over the years they braved long distance over the Juan Du Fuca Straight and a country border. So a Canadian Winter wedding in the mountains was just another challenge to accept for this duo.

Watching them together and you know that there are good people in this world. They are so considerate towards each other and are just frankly adorable. I especially enjoyed the reception speeches that were all very beautiful and genuine.

Their wedding ceremony was held at the Squamish Cultural Centre, with a reception soon after at the gorgeous Nita Lake Lodge. Snow, Candles, and dancing sum this wedding up for me. This group really knows how to party! They also highly appreciate football. There was even a s’mores bar which is basically my kryptonite.

Loved starting the wedding season off this year with such a wonderful experience. I am so lucky to have such amazing people welcome me into their families so I can photograph the relationships there.
