I have a super fun pair of twin cousins, Ian and Fraser. They live in Vancouver and I should definitely see them more often than I do! So I was extra excited when Fraser invited me to create his wedding proposal for him last month. His girlfriend’s name is Dana and she loves pinterest (even more than I do which is pretty impressive) so Fraser decided that he was going to actually pin his proposal on pinterest for her to stumble upon! He supplied me with some photos of them together from a recent trip in Bermuda (the photos were taken by my Aunt, she is really talented), and Ian, Fraser and I spent the day taking the storyboard images where they met, in their apartment, their cat etc. It was a blast – Ian was “Project Manager” and the art direction was taken very seriously!
The best part was I got to meet Dana’s parents. They thought we were coming over because we were making a Christmas scrapbook for Dana, but then Fraser asked for her hand in marriage and it was a really special moment – amazing actually to get that on camera as bride’s don’t normally get to witness this.
I assembled the storyboard and on Christmas Eve, Dana was getting her nightly pin fix when she found it. When she looked up, Fraser was on one knee and the rest is history! You can see the resulting photo, I love the matching flannels! Welcome to the family Dana!
