Remember these two from their engagement shoot? They are back on my blog again, this time in their wedding attire (and just look at Shannon’s dress!).
It was one of the hottest days of the year, absolutely gorgeous at Church and State Winery. It was my frist time shooting at Church and State, it is a beautiful rustic landscape and they have a barrel room that is great for photos and events.
Shannon and Mike’s Reception was held upstairs, wrapped around by a large veranada for their guests, and decorated beautifully by Shannon.
During the ceremony, Shannon’s sister sang a song and the cutest part of the day was when the two cute boys walked down the aisle with a sign that said “Mike, here comes your girl”. Adorbale.
I was touched by how sensitive Mike was on the wedding day, he wrote Shannon a beautiful letter for the morning of the wedding, as well as had some touching words for his mom during the reception. Photographing, and being present at the wedding, I could plainly see how strong the bonds were among this family.
They also know how to party! I’ve seen Shannon dance before at The Mistletoe Gala, and she brought the house down again.
