Edmonton Wedding Photography

It’s couples like this one that make my job as fun and rewarding as it is!
Trina and I actually met in grade 11, when we were both in pageant.

She called me up shortly after Tyler proposed and said that she’s been following my work since high school and I had to be her photographer – it was very flattering!

So I was off to Edmonton to attend this beautiful wedding. The ceremony was at the Leduc Stone Barn, and the vows sounded like they were straight out of a movie. I expected nothing less, Tyler and Trina have a shared entertaining wit. They seem to flow together which sounds cheesy but it’s almost like they’ve never been without each other.
The two met in a speech therapy class – Tyler was the only dude in a class of 50 women. Still, no competition for Trina!

The entire wedding had a rustic rural Edmonton theme, I loved it! Especially Tyler’s family farm where we took their photos. Complete with a gorgeous classic old barn, silos, cows, and a combine, I could have spent hours there! I also really enjoyed the canola fields. I saw their vibrancy from the airplane and wondered what kind of grass that was! I had to shoot in the midst of one.

The reception was hilarious and magical, a definite celebration. Everyone was genuine and also enthusiastic dancers. There was also a milk and cookies bar where the brides’s mom and other family members contributed to.
Trina’s mom (that talented lady!) also spent two weeks transforming a vintage wedding dress into a modern-vintage fashion for Trina.

Both Trina and Tyler’s parents are still celebrating their wedding anniversaries – Trina’s parents are on their 43rd anniversary!
My money is on T&T beating that.

I’ll be uploading a slideshow soon. For now, guests at the wedding, check out the photobooth images HERE.
