Recently, I had a booth at the Victoria Bridal Exhibit. I have done wedding shows before but this time I really wanted to step it up and show potential couples what Kgoodphoto is all about!
I hired a kick ass local design studio in town called Studio Robazzo, they specialize in making whatever you want a reality, all while using reclaimed and recycled materials. I literally showed up with a napkin drawing of what I wanted and they said yeah no problem!
The result was a large 3D tessellated triangle wall made of reclaimed cardboard, and a separate area for my sister studio, The Grove Photographers complete with a laser etched wood logo. The Photobooth linked the two spaces.
Despite the time and investment that wedding shows require, I absolutely love them!
It’s such a rare occasion where I can talk to potential clients one on one, get to know how I can help them best and just talk photography all day!
Also, whenever I have a chance to demonstrate posing techniques, I’m all over it! On stage, I presented some common posing mishaps and surprisingly easy techniques to look fantastic in your wedding photos.
Thanks to everyone who came out, it was great to meet you 🙂
